Taken Away free on Amazon

My short story Taken Away will be free from Sunday, Feb., 17th to Thur, Feb., 21st on Amazon.com – no Kindle reader needed – viewable on most computers with the free Kindle software.

This story was rejected by several magazines. It’s been at #2 and #3 in the free Kindle short story list for science fiction for days now…funny! You can get a free copy and you don’t need a Kindle to read it, there are aps!

“Bob, the security guard, purchases a bathmat at W-mart that has a rather strange pattern on it: when he steps on it a portal opens to another world! Will Bob get home in time for his next shift? A short SF/Fantasy story. (Includes a free sample excerpt from the author’s novel Brainjob.)
