New short story “The Barn”

Just in time for Halloween, I’ve got a new, spooky story published!

An inventor has a big barn and the windows glow at night with a green light. What’s he doing in there? The kooky inventor is always trying to do something, like get free power from nothing (or almost nothing), or make a time machine, or some damn thing!

My new story will be available in Kindle Unlimited as an eBook for 90 days, and also as an audiobook. Paperback coming soon. After 90 days, the book will be placed on all the other eBook sites that I sell my books on (see the “Book Stores” link here on my site for a list).

If you like the story, please leave a review, thank you!

New Short Story “John and the Clone”

My new short story is now out as a Kindle ebook and audiobook, in the Kindle Unlimited catalog for the next 90 days, then it will be released in other ebook stores. Please leave a review if you enjoyed it, to help others discover this story, and my other books. Thank you.

John Betner wanted his own clone girlfriend so badly!

They were getting cheaper all the time, but to John they were still out of reach for the moment, and that really burned him up. He was twenty and just out of a relationship with his first human girlfriend.

That had lasted a couple of years and was much more of an ordeal than he had ever imagined it could be! If he could have gotten a clone woman, things would have been much better for him, he knew.

But those wonderful things, made to order just like you wanted, not only the body but the personality too, were still only what the rich could afford.

However, he was determined to find a way to get one and see if they lived up to the hype.

New short story “The Migraines”

My latest short story is now available as a Kindle ebook (free with Kindle Unlimited for about the next 90 days), and as an audiobook (also free with Kindle Unlimited/Audible trial for about the next 90 days). Please leave a review if you enjoyed it, to help others discover this story, and my other books. Thank you.

“The migraine headache came on as soon as I woke up. I wasn’t sure what caused it, I never am. Though I had my suspicions…like my nightmares and the strange creatures there.”

2026

I hope you had a good Christmas and holiday season!

Happy new year!

It’s nice to see the length of the days growing quickly since we have passed out of the dark time of the year following the winter solstice (“sun stand still”) on December 21st (and the three following days of nearly the same length of daylight, until December 25th when the longer days really started to kick in), and we arrived back into the light time of the year! (Well, for us here in the northern hemisphere, anyway…).

All the best to you for 2026.
