Deathsun 2012 – a screenplay
A group of friends gather on the night of December 21, 2012 – the date the Mayan Calendar ends – for an “End of the World” party. The sun has gotten so hot, people are forced to live at night. To go out in the sun they must wear thick “Sunsuits” to protect themselves. Gaia, a thirty-something spiritual healer lives in a beautiful designer home in the country with her boyfriend Mike, but all is not well: she has been seeing a ghost with glowing red eyes, watching her from the shadows. As the party progresses, and trapped inside by a raging snowstorm, they learn they are not alone…
Will any of them emerge on the other side of the “End of Time” alive?

Well, we are now in 2012. Wow! It’s going to be an interesting year, I know it, and I can feel it!
This year I plan to continue writing fiction, publishing ebooks, and also get some print editions of my books out. I’ll send some of my writing to other publishers as well. I plan to write every day this year. I also plan to record some of my writing as audio books and make those available.
I have my documentary film GOTH:insideOUT to finish editing, and I’ll probably make some other short videos and videoblogs along the way.

I’ve been a fan of Edgar Allan Poe for many years. His stories have the ability to bring a chill and make hair stand on end, even on a sunny day! I guess you could call this an homage to his work – it’s a short screenplay I wrote, based on his short story, but with a modern twist.

For Thanksgiving – a short story “Turkey Day REVENGE!”
I wrote this short story a little while back, during Thanksgiving one year (the Canadian one, though I do appreciate the American one as well). As you will see, it’s totally fiction. Perhaps it came from an alternate universe? I’m not sure, but the story was there, so I share it with you.
What would happen if all the turkeys destined for dinner plates were somehow able to fight back?
It’s about a vegetarian at Thanksgiving and something strange that happens…
