Writer’s word count tracking sheets for 2016 FREE!

Since it’s the start of 2016, I was looking for a new solution to keep track of my daily wiring word counts.

I had been using a Word file, but this has limitations, such as not adding up the total number of words for each month/year (maybe it can do this, but I didn’t want to get that deep into programming it.)

Building an Excel spreadsheet from scratch is beyond my patience and interest. There had to be a better way! Surely someone had some good spreadsheet they were willing to share? I took to the Web.

Today I found a great “mother lode” of FREE Excel spreadsheets made just for writers!

They are by visual artist (and big Star Wars fan) Svenja Gosen. Â She not only designs the spreadsheets especially for writers, she puts her original artwork in them. Amazing!

These sheets track daily word counts and display them in a variety of ways, including graphs, yearly word count tracking, and a lot more!

She asks no fee for her spreadsheets, but takes donations (custom enhancement requests with donations go to the front of the line), so why not put a few dollars her way if you like what’s she done? Might even hire her for a cover

MIB Files: Movie Time

In this episode, Mr. Unknown relates the following tale: Johnny Starr, up-and-coming director was making a new movie on UFOs. The script was by a writer who claimed the story was mostly real, with some â€œapprovedâ€ changes by mysterious sources. Johnny didnâ€™t believe this, until he started seeing the Men In Black.

The MIB FILES are stories of the paranormal, strange things, and UFO sightings with one thing in common: interactions with the Men In Black (MIB). These stories are stand-alone and can be read in any order.
