Taken Away free on Amazon

My short story Taken Away will be free from Sunday, Feb., 17th to Thur, Feb., 21st on Amazon.com – no Kindle reader needed – viewable on most computers with the free Kindle software.

This story was rejected by several magazines. It’s been at #2 and #3 in the free Kindle short story list for science fiction for days now…funny! You can get a free copy and you don’t need a Kindle to read it, there are aps!

Belmont Brose is a young IT worker sick of how robots are encroaching into his life. They are at his job and gangs of them wander the streets looking for victims. He visits his elderly friend Mr. Kim in his shop in China Town dubbed “Robot Town.” Mr. Kim warns him about the robot takeover and makes a plan to escape. Now they must get out of the robot’s city and help save humanity – if they can.

Deathsun 2012 – a screenplay

A group of friends gather on the night of December 21, 2012 – the date the Mayan Calendar ends – for an “End of the World” party. The sun has gotten so hot, people are forced to live at night. To go out in the sun they must wear thick “Sunsuits” to protect themselves. Gaia, a thirty-something spiritual healer lives in a beautiful designer home in the country with her boyfriend Mike, but all is not well: she has been seeing a ghost with glowing red eyes, watching her from the shadows. As the party progresses, and trapped inside by a raging snowstorm, they learn they are not alone…

Will any of them emerge on the other side of the “End of Time” alive?
